Creating Support Around The Child

Before beginning support with a child, I offer parents a complimentary connection session so we can openly discuss what is happening for their child, family and school environment.
This conversation allows space for parents to:
Share concerns privately
Discuss emotional or learning challenges
Explain school or home experiences
Help me better understand how to support their child moving forward

I believe children benefit most when the adults supporting them feel heard, understood and connected too. This first conversation also helps create a more connected and supportive starting point for the child moving forward.
This complimentary consultation is included within all new clients.

Initial 6-Week Child Wellbeing & Learning Support Program

Designed to provide children with consistent emotional wellbeing and learning support across a school term.
The Reset & Rise Program™ helps children build confidence, emotional regulation and stronger learning awareness over time.
Rather than one-off consultations, this pathway provides ongoing, connected support that allows children to feel safe, supported and progressively more confident each week.

This pathway has been designed to support children through:
Emotional overwhelm
School-related stress
Confidence struggles
Learning frustration
Emotional regulation challenges
Anxiety and shutdown behaviours
School transitions
Wellbeing support during challenging periods

Sessions are booked in advance to create consistency, structure and continuity of support across the full eight-week term.

Children often need consistency, connection and emotional safety before meaningful change can occur.

This Program allows me to:
Build trust with the child
Identify emotional and learning patterns
Strengthen confidence gradually
Support emotional regulation consistently
Create stronger connections between home, wellbeing and learning support. This consistency often helps children feel calmer, safer and more emotionally supported over time.
Rather than focusing on “quick fixes,” the goal is to help children build stronger long-term emotional resilience, confidence and learning foundations over time.
Ongoing Weekly Child Wellbeing & Confidence Building

Designed for returning students continuing their emotional wellbeing and learning support journey.
This ongoing Program provides structured, connected support across the school term while continuing to strengthen confidence, emotional regulation and learning resilience.
Sessions are booked in advance to create consistency, routine and continuity of support throughout the term.
Rather than focusing on “quick fixes,” the goal is to help children build stronger long-term emotional resilience, confidence and learning foundations over time.

Choose the pathway that works best for your family
Depending on the age, confidence and support needs of the child, parents will be involved in specific stages of the support process.
I begin by meeting with parents only first, giving them the opportunity to openly discuss their concerns, observations and goals for their child in a safe and supportive environment. This helps me gain a deeper understanding of the child's experiences before we begin working together.
In most cases, I then spend one-on-one time with the child. Children are often highly sensitive to the worries, emotions and reactions of the adults around them, and some may hold back or filter their responses when a parent is present. Having their own space allows them to relax, build trust and express themselves more openly.
This does not mean parents are removed from the process. Parent involvement remains an important part of the support journey. While children benefit from having a safe space to explore their thoughts and feelings independently, parents continue to receive guidance, feedback and practical strategies to help reinforce learning, confidence and emotional growth at home.
The strongest outcomes occur when children, parents and support networks work together, creating a connected and supportive environment around the child.
Every child is different. Some children benefit from short-term support, while others may engage in ongoing wellbeing and confidence-building pathways over time.

Yes. My work is grounded in more than 40 years of educational experience across mainstream, alternative and homeschool environments, combined with child-centred, strengths-based approaches that support learning, confidence and engagement.
The strategies and frameworks I use are informed by established educational practices, learning theory, practical classroom experience and a deep understanding of how children process information, communicate and develop confidence in themselves as learners.
Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, I focus on understanding each child's unique Learning Fingerprint™ and providing practical, personalised support that helps them thrive both emotionally and academically.
Yes. Where appropriate, I work collaboratively alongside parents, educators and external support professionals to help create more connected support pathways for the child.
